Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to New York where a world of wonder awaits. Board your 6-star Discovery Yacht this afternoon. Be warmly greeted by the Scenic Eclipse II crew and familiarise yourself with your spacious suite. With just up to 228 passengers on board, you’ll experience an immersive, engaging voyage through this fascinating part of the world. Ask your butler to bring a glass of Champagne to your suite and toast the start of an unforgettable voyage from your private verandah.

Day 2

Acquaint yourself with the exceptional range of facilities on board your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht. Wake slowly in your own indulgent haven that’s incredibly spacious and once the blinds are opened, filled with abundant natural light. Enjoy an illy coffee or a breakfast tea in your suite that’s styled with elegant furnishings, state-of-the-art amenities, a separate sleep zone and lounge area. All enhanced by the services of a professional butler who will cater to your every need. Perhaps continue or start a regime with a class in one of the fitness spaces, relax in a therapy lounge in the expansive 550m2 Senses Spa, or tempt your tastebuds in one of ten dining experiences.  

Day 3

After a restorative night of rest in your luxurious suite, wake on your own timetable. The day is yours to spend exactly as you wish. You might ask your butler for breakfast in bed, or if the day is particularly glorious, a quiet morning spent on your private verandah basking in the sun. Acquaint yourself with the various indulgent spaces onboard Scenic Eclipse. The Vitality Pool at the expansive 550m2 Senses Spa is reinvigorating and perfectly placed to spend some time viewing the crystalline waters of the vast ocean beneath. It’s also temperature controlled for your ideal comfort. Perhaps cocoon yourself in wellness treatments, leaving thoughts behind and surrendering to the senses. Tonight, enjoy an evening in the Theatre, and sit back for world-class entertainment while sipping your favourite cocktail. 

Day 4

Welcome to Bermuda. A place of pastel hues, where the beaches are pink and the water is turquoise. Stunning natural surrounds include coral reefs set against a breathtaking coastal landscape. This is the first of two days to explore Hamilton, the beating heart of Bermuda. The picturesque capital effortlessly blends modernity with old-world charm. The city's colonial architecture, colourful buildings, and lush parks are a testament to its rich history and cultural heritage. Take a stroll along the vibrant Front Street admiring the Victorian buildings now converted into shops, restaurants, and cafes. Perhaps purchase fashion de jour, a wearable souvenir in the form of bright Bermuda shorts. Explore landmarks such as the Bermuda Cathedral, the Royal Naval Dockyard and the City Hall and Arts Centre where you can find artists at work. Hamilton also offers a lively nightlife scene, with an array of bars, clubs, and entertainment venues that cater to all tastes and preferences.

Day 5

Time is a luxury and today is yours, a second day to explore Hamilton at your leisure. Visit the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, a stunning 36-acre oasis of rare and exotic flora. History buffs might enjoy the Bermuda National Museum, housed in a grand old fortress that once served as a prison. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike the scenic Railway Trail, which offers breathtaking views of the coast, or go snorkelling to explore vibrant sea life and Bermuda’s underwater world. Enjoy local fresh seafood and sample traditional Bermudian cuisine such as fish chowder and spiny lobster. At the Royal Naval Dockyard, try Bermuda’s official drink, the dark and stormy, a mix of dark rum and spicy ginger beer. An ode to the joys and dangers of seafaring, it’s a drink that has been adopted by the global boating and sailing community. 

Day 6

A day to relax and enjoy Scenic Eclipse, perhaps in the expansive Scandinavian designed Senses Spa. Afterward, take some time to relax in the cabana, looking over your photos and sharing them while you recharge before dinner tonight. With ten experiences ranging from fine dining to casual, Scenic Eclipse chefs are creative geniuses. Each dish served is a culinary journey within itself, a true feast for the senses. Settle in at any of the nine bars and lounges to enjoy a beverage of choice. Relish France’s finest at the Lumiere Champagne Bar or, indulge in over 100 varieties of aged whiskey at the Scenic Lounge Bar.  

Day 7

Fresh-squeezed juice delivered to your door and a steaming cup of Italian illy coffee or an English or herbal tea see your day start just perfectly. If you’re up early, nestle yourself into the hanging chairs on Deck 07 to see the morning come to life as day dawns. Perhaps visit the gym for a Pilates class, some guided stretching or aerial yoga. Enjoy an al fresco lunch today at the Yacht Club for delightfully created courses and a chance to mingle with your fellow voyagers. With the stretch of afternoon before you, take the pleasure of a mid-day nap or perhaps curl up with a book in the Observation Lounge. Before deciding on dinner, slide into Vitality Pool on Deck 10. Soak away any muscle tension as you soak in the ocean views.  

Day 8

Welcome to San Salvador Island, one of the smallest inhabited islands in The Bahamas. Scenic Eclipse will dock at Cockburn Town (pronounced ko-burn). Unique in the archipelago, San Salvador is revered for its many sparkling inland lakes, historic monuments and stretches of secluded sandy beaches. It’s famed for being the location of Christopher Columbus’ first sighting of the Americas in 1492 during his first voyage, which is commemorated with a simple white cross. Enjoy a day at the beach, in the ocean snorkelling, or paddling in a kayak or by stand up paddleboard.As the sun begins to sink, enjoy a cocktail on the Sky Deck as the colours above blend from shades of yellow to orange and red while seamlessly sailing away.  

Day 9

Great Exuma Island, part of the stunning Exuma archipelago in the Bahamas, is a hidden gem inaccessible to larger cruise ships. Scenic Eclipse has been specifically designed to access shallow and smaller waterways. See why the Exumas, a chain of 365 islands, attracts the world’s most famous stars. Johnny Depp, Nicholas Cage and David Copperfield are reported to have private islands here. Surrounded by sapphire-blue waters so vivid they can be seen from space. It's an idyllic paradise of nature, deserted cays, flawless beaches, and private islands. Fully appreciate the landscape and seascape colours in an optional scenic helicopter^ flight and soar above in an in one of two helicopters available on board, or perhaps for an optional underwater excursion in Scenic Neptune^. Great Exuma Island is home to the famous swimming pigs, which have become a tourist attraction. 

Day 10

After the activities and excursions of the previous two days, some relaxation may be just what you crave. Join your new friends for a day of mingling and story swapping at the Azure Bar & Café. Graze all day if you wish as all-inclusive beverages and dining ensure you’ll find something that suits your taste perfectly. Our culinary team goes to the Nth Degree to ensure your cuisine is prepared to your tastes and dietary requirements. Tonight's entertainment at the Theatre will give you another opportunity to appreciate the magical moments onboard Scenic Eclipse. Afterwards, retreat back to your ultra-luxury suite for dining in comfort, as well as a nightcap if requested, from our premium collection of wines, beers and spirits.  

Day 11

Honeymoon Harbour is a picturesque and secluded beach on Gun Cay, and as the name suggests, it’s perfect for romantics. It also provides incredible snorkelling with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Cruise around the SS Sapona Shipwreck to see a piece of maritime history. Initially commissioned for World War I but not completed until after, the SS Sapona was sold and used as a floating warehouse during the prohibition. It ran aground during a hurricane and was then used as target practice for U.S. fighter planes during the second world war. The now sunken concrete ship that has become popular with divers and snorkellers. In the evening, enjoy an aperitif in one of the nine lounges and bars before sitting town to a sumptuous meal.  

Day 12

Welcome to Miami, the cruise capital of the world. Scenic Eclipse might be dwarfed by the usual big white ships that carry 5,000 guests, but her sleek design and style will garner attention in the marina. Glitz, glamour and decadence are just a few words to describe Florida’s capital. Miami is a melting pot of cultures from old-world Europeans to Cubans in exile, New Yorkers chasing the sun, surfers chasing the waves and Caribbean musicians looking for their big break. The vibrant energy of Miami, the boutique and high-end shopping and cultural food and bar scene make for an exciting visit. Take in the Art Deco architecture, pull up a chair on at a bar on the famous Ocean Drive, stroll along the artsy Lincoln Road, and visit South Beach famous for beautiful people. From the Sky Deck, drink in hand, you might like to wave goodbye to onlookers as Scenic Eclipse sails aways for your final night at sea. 

Day 13

All good things must come to an end. Your cruise concludes this morning in Nassau as you bid farewell to your new friends and the Scenic Eclipse crew. Take comfort knowing you’ve experienced a spectacular part of the world where few other cruise ships can access. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight homeward.
