This massive glacier sprawls over 1,300 square miles, and it is the longest river of ice in North America. Valdez is located on the north shore of Port Valdez, a deepwater fjord in Prince William Sound. It originated as a disembarkation point for men seeking a route to the Klondike gold fields. Known as "Alaska's Little Switzerland", Valdez's frosted mountains, towering glaciers and pristine lakes, rivers and inlets are a photographer's paradise.

Situated at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula, Seward is one of Alaska's oldest and most scenic communities. Known as the "Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park," it is a picturesque town located 126 miles south of Anchorage.

Whittier is nestled at the base of mountains that line Passage Canal, a deepwater fjord of western Prince William Sound with tidewater glaciers that calve before your eyes.
